About me

Welcome to my digital cabinet of curiosities. I’ve always been a collector: of moments, of memories, and of the tangible pieces of history we often overlook. This site is where I share my passion for postcards, maps, and currencies gathered from around the globe.

Until the lion learns how to write, every story will glorify the hunter.

- Nigerian Proverb

"Every postcard tells a story. Some can rewrite history."

Cesar Castanon A

Cesar is a writer of historical fiction, a software engineer, and a collector of stories—both on the page and on the backs of postcards. Born in Mexico and raised across four countries (Egypt, France, the US, and Canada), his work is informed by a global upbringing that left him fluent in three languages with a conversational grasp of Arabic.

Based in San Francisco, Cesar splits his time between testing software and building worlds. When away from the keyboard, he is an avid triathlete and boxer who believes in the power of a handwritten letter. He’s benevolently ruled by his cat, Fresita (Gato Uno), and gets his daily walks in with his dog, Therapy.
